ingeniously simple power reserve display: The rotation of the barrel arbor is transfered to the hand, and the rotation of the barrel with the same gear ratio to the tiny dial (Fig.3). Thus even without a complicated differential gear the difference of the arbor rotation (winding) and the barrel rotation (run down) is displayed.
